Bio

I am licensed clinical psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I work with people of all ages, specializing in preschool-aged children and adolescents. Working collaboratively with caregivers we can identify things that aren't going so well, make changes, and do more of the things that are working. Everyone has strength and resiliency to tap into.

My clinical work began with children who experienced severe trauma. I saw how diverse the experiences and reactions to terrible events can be while seeing the benefits of mindfulness, yoga, meditation, and acceptance in making meaning of traumatic events. Prioritizing safety and connection, we can work together to move in a value-driven direction.

Understanding and making meaning of experiences is important to heal and move forward in life. There are times when we all feel off balance, unfocused, afraid, and alone. I work with children and adults to help them learn skills to make meaning of experiences and feelings, find what matters to them, and manage the tough and uncomfortable things that we all often push aside. I take an active approach to therapy, helping clients to identify values, goals, and changes to make them feel fulfilled. Whether I'm working with a 3 or 30 year old, I strive to be curious, empathetic, and respectful of the unique human that you are.
